Who CuraVela works for
CuraVela’s first responsibility is to the person traveling for treatment, not to any clinic or practitioner.
That means:
My role is to help you see your options more clearly, not to steer you toward any particular clinic or destination.
I will only recommend clinics or practitioners I would consider for myself or someone I love.
If I would not stand behind a clinic without any financial arrangement, I will not recommend it with one.
Independence, for me, does not mean having no opinions. It means being honest about where those opinions come from and what might influence them.
How I choose where to recommend
Over time, I am building up a picture of clinics and practitioners based on:
My own direct experience, in some cases, as a patient or parent.
What I see while supporting clients before, during, and after treatment.
How clinics communicate about risk, limits, and aftercare.
Whether their promises match what actually happens on the ground.
In practice, that looks like:
Paying attention to patterns over time, not single stories.
Noticing how clinics respond when something goes wrong or needs to change.
Being willing to say “I no longer recommend this place” if experience suggests that is the right call.
When I suggest a clinic or practitioner, it is because I believe they are a reasonable choice for your situation, not because they are the only option or because I am neutral. I am not neutral. I have seen some things work better than others, and I share that with you.
When a clinic offers a commission
Some clinics offer a fee when clients come to them through someone who has referred or introduced them.
For example, a clinic might say:
“We will pay you a fixed amount when someone you support chooses to use our services.”
If I accept a commission from a clinic, I treat that as a potential conflict of interest that needs to be brought into the open, not hidden.
My approach is:
I will tell you, in plain language, when I have a financial relationship with a clinic or practitioner I am suggesting.
I will only accept arrangements that are fixed and transparent (for example, a set amount), not tied to how much treatment you buy.
I will not recommend a clinic if I would not recommend it without any commission attached.
You always have the option to choose a different clinic, or to use my support even if you decide to go somewhere I have not worked with before.
What “independent” means here
In this kind of work, “independent” does not mean standing back and refusing to have a view.
For CuraVela, it means:
I am not paid by any clinic to send everyone there.
I do not sell treatment packages.
I do not receive bonuses for encouraging you to choose one treatment over another.
I am clear with you whenever there is any extra financial arrangement on my side.
You can think of me as someone walking beside you, offering perspective and support, but leaving the final decision in your hands.
